Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2016 Notification (Advt. No. 06/2016) for the recruitment of 1009 Assistant
Divisional Medical Officer, Assistant Medical Officer & General Duty Medical Officer posts though Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) 2016.

UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2016:
1. Assistant Divisional Medical officer in Railways: 600
2. Assistant Medical officer in IOF Health Services: 46
3. Junior Scale post in Central Health Services: 250
4. GDMO in New Delhi Municipal Corporation: 16
5. General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II: 97

Age limit:
Upper age limit is 32 years as on 01-01-2016. i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1984. Upper age limit relaxations applicable as per norms.

Educational qualification:
Candidates must have passed M.B.B.S. Examination. Candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S examination/ candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship may also apply but he/she will be appointed only after he/she has passed MBBS/ completed the compulsory rotating internship.

How to apply: 
Eligible candidates can apply for Combined Medical Services Examination 2016 (06/2016- CMS) advertisement online through upsconline.nic.in form 05-03-2016 to 01-04-2016. Candidates should pay Rs. 200 rupee at any branch of SBI or using Net online banking/ debit/ credit card. No fee for ST/SC/PWD/Women candidates.
