रेल बजट 2015-16: मुख्य बिंदु
•    यात्री रेल किराया और माल भाड़ा में कोई बढ़ोतरी नहीं.
•    योजना परिव्यय 100011 करोड़ रुपए का प्रस्ताव, वर्ष 2014-15 के रेल बजट से कुल 52% की वृद्धि.

•    यात्री सुविधाओं के लिए आवंटन में 67% की वृद्धि.
•    यात्रियों की समस्याओं और सुरक्षा से जुड़ी शिकायतें सुनने के लिए 24X7 हेल्प लाईन.
•    9400 किलोमीटर के दो‍हरीकरण/तिहरीकरण/चौहरीकरण की 77 नई परियोजनाओं का प्रस्ताव.
•    रेलवे टिकट 60 दिन के बजाय 120 दिन पहले बुक की जा सकेगी, पेपरलेस टिकटिंग पर ज़ोर.
•    नई ट्रेनों की घोषणा नहीं.
•    राजधानी और शताब्दी समेत सभी ट्रेनों की औसत स्पीड बढ़ाई जाएगी. भीड़भाड़ वाली ट्रेनों में और डिब्बे जोड़े जाएंगे.
•    वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए लोअर बर्थ की सीटें अधिक आरक्षित होंगी.
•    400 रेलवे स्टेशनों पर वाई-फाई सुविधा, 10 सैटेलाइट रेलवे स्टेशन विकसित होंगे.
•    970 रेलवे ओवर ब्रिज या रेलवे अंडर ब्रिज बनाए जाएंगे. 3438 मानवरहित क्रॉसिंग ख़त्म किए जाएंगे.
•    4 रेलवे रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट खोले जाने की घोषणा. बनारस हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय में मालवीय चेयर फ़ॉर रेलवे टेक्नोलॉज़ी स्थापित करने की घोषणा.
•    रेलवे में सभी भर्तियां ऑनलाइन होंगी.
•    अगले पांच वर्ष में 8.5 लाख करोड़ के निवेश का लक्ष्य. इसके लिए पीपीपी मॉडल स्वीकार की जाएगी.
•    रेल मंत्री ने स्वच्छ रेल, स्वच्छ भारत का नया नारा देते हुए एक अलग स्वच्छता विभाग बनाने की घोषणा की.

•    महिलाओं की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए डिब्बे में सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए जाएंगे. 
•    अशक्त लोगों के लिए ऑनलाइन व्हील चेयर भी बुक कराने की सुविधा देने का एलान.
•    विज्ञापन के जरिए राजस्व जुटाने पर जोर.
•    लोकल यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए टिकट वेंडिंग मशीन की संख्या बढ़ाई जाएगी.
•    पीने के पानी के लिए वॉटर वेंडिंग मशीन लगाने का एलान.
•    अब यात्री 120 दिन पहले अपनी टिकट बुक करा सकेंगे. पहले यह 60 दिन था. 
•    फोन के माध्यम से भी लोकल टिकट लिया जा सकेगा.

 विदित हो कि केंद्र में नवगठित मोदी सरकार (मई 2014) की यह पहली रेल बजट हैं. प्रभु ने अपने पहले रेल बजट में आगामी पांच वर्षों हेतु कुल 8 हजार करोड़ के रेलवे में निवेश की सरकार की योजना की जानकारी दी.

જરૂર વાંચો અને જુઓ : ભારતમાં ભલે તમે અનેક સ્થળોની મુલાકાત લીધી હોય, પરંતુ કેટલાક સ્થળો એવા પણ છે. જેની ઉત્પતિ વિષે તમે અજાણ પણ હોવ. આ જગ્યાઓ કોઈ ભૂતિયા સ્થળો નથી. પરંતુ વિશ્વના સૌથી આકર્ષક સ્થળોમાં તેની ગણતરી કરવામાં આવે છે. આજે અહીં ભારતના એવા જ કેટલાક પ્રાકૃતિક સ્થળો અંગે વાત કરવામાં આવી છે.


આ વિશ્વનું સૌથી મોટું અને કટોરાના આકારમાં બનેલું સરોવર છે, આ સુંદર સરોવરનો નજારો તમને મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં જોવા મળશે. ક્રેટર એક એવો ખાડો હોય છે જે આતંરિક વિસ્ફોટથી બને છે. જમીનની અંદર વિસ્ફોટ થવાના કારણે આ પ્રકારના ખાડાઓ બની જાય છે. આ લોનર ક્રેટર લેક 50,000 વર્ષ જૂનું છે.

  પહાડના બિલકુલ પીક પોઇ્ટ પર પહોંચીને નીચેનો નજારો જોવાની મજા જ કંઇ ઓર હોય છે. આવા સ્થળો જોવા માટે તમારે મહાબળેશ્વરમ જવું પડશે. અહીંથી તમે આકર્ષક નજારાઓ જોઇ શકો છો. અહીંના પ્રાકૃતિક દ્રશ્યો જોઇને તમારું મન મુગ્ધ થઇ જશે. 
 નીડલ હોલ પોઇન્ટ, મહાબળેશ્વરમ

આ ગુફાને ભારતની સૌથી મોટી ગુફાનો દરજ્જો આપવામાં આવ્યો છે. જેની લંબાઇ 3229 મીટર છે, આ ગુફાની આસપાસ તમને હવાના ઝરોખા, ગ્લેશિયર અને નાળા જોવા મળશે. એડવેન્ચર્સના શોખીન માટે આ સ્થળ ખાસ છે. આ ગુફા ટૂરિસ્ટ્સ માટે 1.5 કિમી સુધી જ ખુલ્લી રાખવામાં આવી છે. 
 બેલમ કેવ્સ, ભારતની સૌથી મોટી ગુફા

 મધ્યપ્રદેશના જબલપુરમાં ફરવા માટે અનેક સ્થળો છે, જેમાંથી એક માર્બલ રોક્સ છે. આ પહાડની ચારેતરફ નર્મદા નદી વહે છે. આ પહાડ ત્રણ કિમી સુધી ફેલાયેલો છે. સૂરજની રોશની પડવા પર આ માર્બલ એકદમ સફેદ પાઇનેપલની માફક ચમકે છે અને પાણીનો રંગ બદલાઇ જાય છે. આ અત્યંત સુંદર અને આકર્ષક લાગે છે. આ પહાડની સુંદરતા જોવા માટે રાત્રિના સમયે જાવ.      
 માર્બલ રોક્સ, ભેડાઘાટ, વ્હાઇટ શાઇનિંગ વન્ડર્સ, જબલપુર

 કદાચ તેને જોતા તમને કોઇ ભૂતિયા સ્થળ જેવું લાગે, પરંતુ અહીંના સ્થાનિક લોકોનું કહેવું છે કે રાત્રિના સમયે બનાની ગ્રાસલેન્ડ પર અલગ અલગ પ્રકારની લાઇટ્સ જોવા મળે છે. આ કોઇ એવું સ્થળ નથી જ્યાં ભૂતપ્રેત હોય પરંતુ અત્યંત સુંદર સ્થળ છે. તેને જોઇને તમે આશ્ચર્યમાં પડી જશો. ગુજરાતના રણ કચ્છમાં કંઇક આવો જ નજારો છે. જ્યાં ટૂરિસ્ટ્સ આ પ્રકારની લાઇટ્સની સાથે ચાલે છે. આ લાઇટ્સ ઉપર ઘણાં રિસર્ચ પણ થયેલા છે. 
 બન્ની ગ્રાસલેન્ડ્સ રિઝર્વ, ઇન્ઝાઇમેટિક ડાન્સિંગ લાઇટ્સ

 આંધ્રપ્રદેશના અરકૂ વૈલીમાં અનંતગિરી હિલ્સમાં બનેલી આ ગુફા ભારતની સૌથી ઉંડી ગુફા માનવામાં આવે છે. આ ગુફા 260 ગુફા ઉંડી છે. આ ગુફાની બનાવટ અને પહાડની બનાવટ ખરેખર જ જોવાલાયક છે. આ ગુફાની ઉપરથી મિનરલ રિચ વોટર નિકળે છે. 
બોરો કેવ્સ, ધ ડિપેસ્ટ ઇન ધ કન્ટ્રી

 હિન્દુઓના પવિત્ર અને ધાર્મિક સ્થળોમાંથી એક ગણાતી અમરનાથ ગુફાને સૌથી ઉપર ગણવામાં આવે છે. અહીં બરફનું શિવલિંગ છે, આ એક એવી પ્રાકૃતિક રચના છે જે કેવની છતથી પડતા પાણીના એવી બૂંદો પરથી બને છે જે નીચે આવીને બરફમાં જામી જાય છે. આ શિવલિંગને હિમાની બાબા પણ કહેવાય છે. ગરમીના સમયમાં આ બરફ પિગળી જાય છે. આ સ્થળ ચંદ્રમાની ગતિ અનુરૂપ પીગળીને સમાપ્ત થઇ જાય છે. ભગવાન શિવે અહીં તેમની પત્ની પાર્વતીની સાથે જીવનના રહસ્યો પર વાત કરી હતી. 
અમરનાથ ગુફા

 પ્રકૃતિની અદભૂત સુંદરતાનું સરનામું તમને મણિપુરના સરોવરને જોઇને મળશે. દુનિયાના સ્થાયી સરોવરો, વનસ્પતિ, માટી અને કાર્બનિક પદાર્થોથી મળીને બનેલી હોય છે. આ સ્થાયી સરોવરની ચારેત
રફ ઘાસની ઝૂંપડીઓ બનેલી છે, જ્યાં ગ્રામીણ લોકો વસવાટ કરે છે.

 અહીં પત્થર કોઇ પહાડથી નથી બનેલા પરંતુ જ્વાળામુખીથી બન્યા છે. આ અત્યંત શાંત અને સુંદર છે, અહીં તમને નારિયેળના વૃક્ષો જોવા મળશે. અહીં જ્વાળામુખી ફાટ્યા બાદ ઘટ્ટ ચિકણાં બલાસ્ટિક લાવા બહાર નિકળે છે, આ લાવા ઠંડો પડ્યા બાદ તે અહીં એકઠો થાય છે.

 જો તમે કલ્પનાથી આગળ જઇને કંઇક જોવાનું મન છે તો તમે સીધા મેઘાલયના ચેરાપુંજી પહોંચી જાવ, જ્યાં તમને તમારી આંખો પર વિશ્વાસ નહીં થાય. અહીં રબરના વૃક્ષો 3000 ફૂટ સુધી ઉંચા છે. આ પહાડ અત્યંત જૂના છે જેના કારણે વૃક્ષો વધારે ફેલાઇ ગયા છે અને વળી ગયા છે. આ રચનાથી અહીં નદીની ઉપર વૃક્ષોનો પુલ બની ગયો છે, જેને તમે આરામથી પાર કરી શકો છો.
