Qualification: – 10th classes passed or equivalent from recognized board.
Candidates must have knowledge of Konkani language.
Age limit: – The minimum age of candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than
35 years as on 22 February 2016.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit relax able up to 03 years for O.B.C. and 05 years for SC,
ST candidates.
Pay scale: – Rs 4440-7440 plus grade pay 1400 per month.
Physical standard test:-
(A) Male candidates:-
Height – Minimum 163 centimeter.
Chest – Minimum 79 – 84 centimeter.
(B) Female candidates:-
Height – Minimum 150 centimeter.
Chest – Minimum 74 – 79 centimeter.
Walk speed test:-
For male candidates – 25 kilometer to be completed in 4 hours.
For female candidates – 16 kilometer to be completed in 4 hours.
Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, physical test and
walking test.
Written exam: – A written examination will be held comprising of objective type questions of
the level of 10th, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and a section on Konkani language.
The successful candidates as per the written test will have to appear for physical standard and
walking test.
