Breaking News:-Gram Panchayat Chutani Date Declared.On the recommendations of Balwantray Mehta Committee, Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1961 was introduced in the state since 01/04/1963.In order to strengthen the panchayats further in line with the 73rd Amendment Act of the Constitution, Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1993 was implemented with effect from 15/04/1994.
