Were present. For the recruitment of Indian Air Force, Officer and Airman Cadre, it is the first wing in the three wings of the army carrying IT and Bull Online exams. The proposal was given in-principle approval on October 24, 2017 by the Defense Minister. In connection with the C-DAC, the Indian Air Force will implement online testing from January 2018, for which the online registration process will start from December 15, 2017.

Selection arrangements for officers and airman cadres in the Indian Air Force are continuously changing and persistent efforts have been made to strengthen the testing system. Although the current system was proved to be a test of time, there was the biggest constraint of testing capacity and geographical reach, so that all qualified and skilled candidates from all over the country, especially the rural youth, could not get the opportunity.

On 31st October, 2017, an agreement was signed (MoU) with the Government of India, C-DAC, to improve this system and to make it more convenient for the candidates. The project will be implemented by the Scheduled Test for Airman Recruitment (Star) for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Airman Cadre for officers cadre from 31 January 2018.
