The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has laid down the eligibility criteria for the UPSC IFoS Civil Services Examination in four major parameters- nationality, educational qualification, age criteria, and the number of attempts. The UPSC IFoS Eligibility Criteria has been discussed in detail below.
UPSC IFos Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
A candidate must fulfill any one of the nationality conditions:
- A citizen of India
- The subject of Nepal
- The subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
- Candidates belonging to categories b, c, d, and e should produce a certificate of eligibility, which has been issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification:
- The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree with a specialization in one of the subjects specifically, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology.
- Candidates with a Bachelor's certification in Agriculture Forestry or Engineering are also eligible for the UPSC IFoS exam.

For preliminary exam

UPSC IFS Admit Card 2022
The admit card will be made available in online mode around 3 weeks before the commencement of the exam. The candidates will be able to download their e-admit card from the UPSC official website. In case any problem occurs in downloading the admit card, it must be communicated to the commission’s office immediately. The candidate should take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam center on the exam date.
UPSC IFS Result 2022
The final result of the UPSC IFS 2022 will be announced on the official website expectedly in the month of July 2022. The candidates who clear the preliminary exam will have to appear for the main exam and those who clear mains also, will be invited for the interview round. The final result will be declared for the candidates who clear all the 3 rounds of the exam.
